Hopenity is built around community, blood donation, mutual support, and social connection. Every person on Hopenity deserves a safe and respectful experience. These guidelines exist to protect people — not to restrict honest expression.

Prohibited content and behaviour
নিষিদ্ধ কনটেন্ট ও আচরণ
The following are strictly prohibited on Hopenity. This list is not exhaustive — Hopenity may take action against any content or behaviour that harms users, violates applicable law, or violates the spirit of these guidelines.
নিচের বিষয়গুলো হোপেনিটিতে কঠোরভাবে নিষিদ্ধ। এই তালিকা সম্পূর্ণ নয় — হোপেনিটি যেকোনো কনটেন্ট বা আচরণের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নিতে পারে যা ব্যবহারকারীদের ক্ষতি করে, প্রযোজ্য আইন লঙ্ঘন করে বা এই গাইডলাইনের মূল উদ্দেশ্যের বিরুদ্ধে যায়।
1. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Any content that sexually exploits, depicts, solicits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited. This includes images, videos, written content, links, or any other material. Hopenity will immediately remove such content, ban the account permanently, and report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities without notice.
2. Pornography and explicit sexual content
Nudity, pornography, and explicit sexual content are prohibited. This includes depictions of sexual acts, genitalia, and graphic nudity in posts, messages, videos, profile images, pages, or any other part of the platform.
3. Terrorism and violent extremism
Content that promotes, glorifies, funds, recruits for, or incites terrorism, mass violence, or violent extremist ideologies is prohibited. This includes propaganda from designated terrorist organisations worldwide.
4. Hate speech
Content that attacks, dehumanises, or incites discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is prohibited.
5. Violence and graphic content
Graphic depictions of real violence, gore, torture, or death intended to shock or disturb users are prohibited. Threats of violence against any individual, group, or location are prohibited.
6. Harassment and bullying
Targeted harassment, coordinated abuse, threats, doxxing (publishing private information), repeated unwanted contact, and cyberbullying directed at individuals or groups are prohibited.
7. Self-harm and suicide promotion
Content that promotes, encourages, instructs, or glorifies suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders is prohibited. Hopenity may refer users to crisis resources where appropriate.
8. Drug trafficking and weapons sales
Offering, selling, soliciting, or facilitating the unlawful purchase of controlled substances, illegal weapons, explosives, or dangerous materials is prohibited.
9. Spam and coordinated inauthentic behaviour
Mass unsolicited messages, fake engagement, artificial amplification, impersonating another user or brand, creating fake accounts, or running coordinated manipulation campaigns are prohibited.
10. Scams and financial fraud
Deceptive schemes, phishing, romance scams, fake fundraising, fraudulent investment offers, and any activity designed to mislead users for financial gain are prohibited.
11. Copyright and trademark infringement
Uploading content you do not own or are not licensed to use, reproducing protected works without authorisation, or misusing another party's brand or trademark is prohibited. See the Intellectual Property Policy.
12. Privacy violations
Publishing another person's private information without consent (doxxing), sharing intimate images without consent (non-consensual intimate image sharing), and recording or publishing private conversations without consent are prohibited.
13. Illegal activities
Any content that facilitates, promotes, or directly engages in illegal activities under applicable national or international law — including money laundering, human trafficking, illegal gambling, and unlicensed financial services — is prohibited.
14. Misinformation that causes harm
False information likely to cause direct harm — including medical misinformation that endangers health, false emergency alerts, or election interference — may be removed or labelled.
১. শিশু যৌন নির্যাতনের উপকরণ (CSAM)
যেকোনো কনটেন্ট যা কোনো নাবালককে যৌনভাবে শোষণ করে, চিত্রিত করে, প্ররোচিত করে বা বিপদে ফেলে — কঠোরভাবে নিষিদ্ধ। এর মধ্যে ছবি, ভিডিও, লিখিত কনটেন্ট, লিংক বা অন্য যেকোনো উপকরণ অন্তর্ভুক্ত। হোপেনিটি তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে এমন কনটেন্ট মুছে দেবে, অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে নিষিদ্ধ করবে এবং NCMEC ও সংশ্লিষ্ট আইন প্রয়োগকারী সংস্থায় রিপোর্ট করবে।
২. পর্নোগ্রাফি ও স্পষ্ট যৌন কনটেন্ট
নগ্নতা, পর্নোগ্রাফি এবং স্পষ্ট যৌন কনটেন্ট নিষিদ্ধ। এর মধ্যে পোস্ট, মেসেজ, ভিডিও, প্রোফাইল ছবি, পেজ বা প্ল্যাটফর্মের অন্য যেকোনো অংশে যৌন কার্যক্রম, যৌনাঙ্গ এবং গ্রাফিক নগ্নতার চিত্রণ অন্তর্ভুক্ত।
৩. সন্ত্রাস ও সহিংস চরমপন্থা
সন্ত্রাস, গণহত্যা বা সহিংস চরমপন্থী মতাদর্শ প্রচার, মহিমান্বিত করা, তহবিল সংগ্রহ, নিয়োগ বা উসকানিদানকারী কনটেন্ট নিষিদ্ধ।
৪. ঘৃণামূলক বক্তব্য
জাতি, জাতিসত্তা, জাতীয় উৎস, ধর্ম, লিঙ্গ, যৌন পরিচয়, প্রতিবন্ধিতা বা অন্যান্য সুরক্ষিত বৈশিষ্ট্যের ভিত্তিতে ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠীকে আক্রমণ, মানবেতর বা বৈষম্যমূলক করার কনটেন্ট নিষিদ্ধ।
৫. সহিংসতা ও গ্রাফিক কনটেন্ট
ব্যবহারকারীদের ভয় দেখাতে বা অস্থির করতে উদ্দেশ্যমূলক বাস্তব সহিংসতা, রক্ত, নির্যাতন বা মৃত্যুর গ্রাফিক চিত্রণ নিষিদ্ধ। যেকোনো ব্যক্তি, গোষ্ঠী বা স্থানের বিরুদ্ধে সহিংসতার হুমকিও নিষিদ্ধ।
৬. হয়রানি ও বুলিং
লক্ষ্যভিত্তিক হয়রানি, সমন্বিত অপব্যবহার, হুমকি, ডক্সিং (ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য প্রকাশ), বারবার অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত যোগাযোগ এবং ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠীর বিরুদ্ধে সাইবার বুলিং নিষিদ্ধ।
৭. আত্মহত্যা ও স্বপ্রবণতা উৎসাহ
আত্মহত্যা, স্বপ্রবণতা বা ইটিং ডিসঅর্ডার প্রচার, উৎসাহিত করা, নির্দেশ করা বা মহিমান্বিত করার কনটেন্ট নিষিদ্ধ।
৮. মাদক পাচার ও অস্ত্র বিক্রয়
নিয়ন্ত্রিত মাদক, অবৈধ অস্ত্র, বিস্ফোরক বা বিপজ্জনক সামগ্রীর অবৈধ ক্রয়-বিক্রয় বা সহজলভ্য করা নিষিদ্ধ।
৯. স্প্যাম ও সমন্বিত অসৎ আচরণ
গণ-অযাচিত বার্তা, ভুয়া এনগেজমেন্ট, কৃত্রিম প্রসার, অন্য ব্যবহারকারী বা ব্র্যান্ডের ছদ্মবেশ, ভুয়া অ্যাকাউন্ট বা সমন্বিত কারসাজি প্রচারণা নিষিদ্ধ।
১০. প্রতারণা ও আর্থিক জালিয়াতি
প্রতারণামূলক স্কিম, ফিশিং, রোমান্স স্ক্যাম, ভুয়া ফান্ডরেইজিং, প্রতারণামূলক বিনিয়োগ অফার এবং আর্থিক লাভের জন্য ব্যবহারকারীকে বিভ্রান্ত করার যেকোনো কার্যক্রম নিষিদ্ধ।
১১. কপিরাইট ও ট্রেডমার্ক লঙ্ঘন
আপনার মালিকানাহীন বা লাইসেন্সহীন কনটেন্ট আপলোড করা, অনুমোদন ছাড়া সুরক্ষিত কাজ পুনরুৎপাদন করা বা অন্য পক্ষের ব্র্যান্ড বা ট্রেডমার্কের অপব্যবহার নিষিদ্ধ। ইন্টেলেকচুয়াল প্রোপার্টি পলিসি দেখুন।
১২. প্রাইভেসি লঙ্ঘন
সম্মতি ছাড়া অন্য ব্যক্তির ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য প্রকাশ (ডক্সিং), সম্মতি ছাড়া ঘনিষ্ঠ ছবি শেয়ার করা এবং সম্মতি ছাড়া ব্যক্তিগত কথোপকথন রেকর্ড বা প্রকাশ করা নিষিদ্ধ।
১৩. অবৈধ কার্যক্রম
জাতীয় বা আন্তর্জাতিক আইনের অধীনে অবৈধ কার্যক্রম — মানি লন্ডারিং, মানব পাচার, অবৈধ জুয়া এবং অলাইসেন্সড আর্থিক পরিষেবাসহ — সহজলভ্য করা, প্রচার করা বা সরাসরি অংশগ্রহণ করা নিষিদ্ধ।
১৪. ক্ষতিকর ভুল তথ্য
সরাসরি ক্ষতির সম্ভাবনা থাকা মিথ্যা তথ্য — স্বাস্থ্য বিপন্নকারী চিকিৎসা সংক্রান্ত ভুল তথ্য, মিথ্যা জরুরি সতর্কতা, বা নির্বাচনী হস্তক্ষেপ — অপসারণ বা লেবেল করা হতে পারে।

Hopenity supports open expression, community connection, and life-saving activities. The following are explicitly allowed.

- Criticism and accountability journalism about public figures and institutions
- Sharing personal stories and lived experiences
- Organising community events, fundraising for legitimate causes, and mutual aid

Hopenity uses a combination of automated filtering, user reports, and human review to detect and respond to violations.
হোপেনিটি লঙ্ঘন শনাক্ত ও প্রতিক্রিয়া জানাতে স্বয়ংক্রিয় ফিল্টারিং, ব্যবহারকারী রিপোর্ট এবং মানব পর্যালোচনার সমন্বয় ব্যবহার করে।
Repeated or severe violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent account termination.
বারবার বা গুরুতর লঙ্ঘনে সাময়িক সাসপেনশন বা স্থায়ী অ্যাকাউন্ট বন্ধ হতে পারে।
Where required by law or where content presents a risk to life, Hopenity will refer information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
আইনের প্রয়োজনে বা জীবনের ঝুঁকি থাকলে হোপেনিটি আইন প্রয়োগকারী বা নিয়ন্ত্রক সংস্থায় তথ্য দেবে।
Any CSAM detected will result in immediate content removal, permanent account ban, and mandatory reporting to NCMEC and local authorities.

How to report violations

- Use the Report button on any post, comment, video, profile, or message inside the Hopenity app.
- Use the public reporting form at /report/privacy/.
- Email abuse@hopenity.com for urgent or complex cases.
- For copyright or trademark issues, visit the Intellectual Property Policy.
- For child safety emergencies, contact your local law enforcement immediately and also report to us at abuse@hopenity.com.
- হোপেনিটি অ্যাপের যেকোনো পোস্ট, কমেন্ট, ভিডিও, প্রোফাইল বা মেসেজে Report বাটন ব্যবহার করুন।

If you believe your content was removed or your account was actioned in error, you have the right to appeal.

Visit the Appeal page or email appeals@hopenity.com with your account details and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
